Subconscious Creatures / Original Art
I was having a relaxing doodle session yesterday with no plan, just allowing things to flow and this was the end result! The little creature perched on her head was originally some hair that I didn't like so I began smooshing it around with the liquify tool, I was going to just erase it and start over and all of a sudden I saw this little guy pop out at me, don't you love when that happens!
I imagine him a bit like her moral compass, perhaps he manifests in different ways depending on how she's feeling. In this image I think she's up to no good.
I don't normally leave my images black and white but I felt this one was kind of striking as it was, though if I get the urge I might paint it one day!
