💡 Its time to tell you something about my city ´Cologne´ (so you know where my ...

... Appics-Username is coming from😉)! On this photo you see two things which are deep-rooted in our culture and tradition:

1. Carnival 🥳 - there are several areas in Germany where carnival is celebrated, however Cologne is the hotspot🔥. Our city colours are white and red - and make a great costume.

2. Our own beer type 🍺: "Kölsch"! Today exist 24 different brands of Kölsch (e.g. on the glas in my photo you can see one famous brewery named ´Sion´). All those breweries are only allowed to produce Kölsch within the city. This is due to an old rule which forbids to brew this beer outside the city🚫. Therefore, it doesnt matter where you are in Germany or the World - you will always have to ´import´ Kölsch from Cologne itself.

🍻 If you are in Cologne and ask for a beer, you will automatically always get a Kölsch 😄 (except you specifically ask for another beer). It is served in a small glass as you can see on the photo. If you are in Cologne, I highly recommend to do a self-organized brewery hopping tour: Many breweries are located within central city so you can taste and experience cologne traditions in one evening across Cologne 🙌. They also provide traditional food.
