... this photo is absolutely beautiful.Not despite the wrinkles around my eyes - I like it because of the wrinkles. For me, they reflect the absolute concentration and passion about catching the right moment while taking a picture. It shows myself ´guards down´.

✨ Bodies have wrinkles. Spots. Scars. Stretch marks. Freckles. And they all tell a story. It is not a story about whether being pretty or ugly - its a story about a humans´ life. When I look at the scar on my arm, I remember how much I loved cooking with my amazing flatmates in Barcelona during a language course (and unfortunately slightly stabbing my arm😅). When I look at the scar on my leg, I feel so lucky that my doctor removed this not-so-healthy birthmark. I know its not always easy to accept yourself, but I hope those thoughts encourage you to do it. It changed my perspective when I started seeing my body as an artifact of my life.

✨ Bodypositivity raised more and more awareness during the last years. I think we are on a good way🙌.
