You cant edit it because more than 12 hours have passed and a payout has occurred with the post.
Steemit should send me nice tip message,not so programmer style ^_^
They do, it's in your author rewards section.
You are absolutely right, they should provide a human readable error message.
Making the error message a readable one would indeed be a great idea.
