My journey on steemit(How the challenge being accepted by an ordinary father)
Me a blogger? that was my first reaction when steemit was first introduced to me. I was not even interested to listen on our first meet-up. On my mind I thought it was another form of a scam, since my family was a scam victim recently. Ive learned from it because our hard earned money was gone for nothing!
As my account was approved I dont even itroduce myself that well. I was asking myself, can I really do this? What post am I going to make? For a father like me do I have time for this? How can I write a good quality post with good grammar knowing that I don't even finish college and the last time I attended a class was already 20 years ago!
Those questions keep bothering in my mind. So I've challenge myself answering my own questions and find ways to be a competitive one.
I have to educate myself because of my desire to make a good quality content.
I devote most of my free time reading post on my feed. And I've learned that I need to be resourceful and be creative.
Every time I am going to have
a post I must be familiar in every content. I do upvote and follow for me to be recognized.
Time management
How did i find time to create a story?During my one hour lunch break, after eating i have to make a format or outline of my story. Every time I go home from work I am always stuck up in traffic and it takes almost 2 hours, instead of getting bored I better start writing. As i got home I need to finalize my story and post it!
My realizations
Make a story that comes from the heart. It is not all about the money that you've earned from steemit. What matters most is you've learned from the stories of others too. You've gained knowledge in different fields. You've meet people who motivates you to have success in life, and those things money can't buy.
I will never forget this young professionals who discuss financial freedom ,from there ive learned how to manage our income and how to secure our families health through insurance and lot more that we can even apply practically in our daily lives.
