Security is a state of being free from danger and risk. And only system with valuable contents are being secured using security agents like security codes and password.
Due to the high importance of the steemit block chain, there are various keys delegated to keep the steemit block chain system secured and safe from hackers, such keys as; The master password, Private owner keys, Posting keys, Active keys and Memo keys
FUNCTIONS OF STEEMIT SECURITY KEYS
THE MASTER PASSWORD
The master password is the most powerful key of a steemit account as it can be used to generate and change any key of a steemit account including the private owner key.
The master password is mostly used for recovery of an account.
THE PRIVATE OWNER KEY
The private owner key is used to reset all other keys and also used to recover an account within the period of 30days.
THE PRIVATE POSTING KEY
The private posting key is used to login to apps such as steemit, perform social activities such as posting, commenting and voting.
THE PRIVATE ACTIVE KEY
The private active key is used for money and other wallet related transactions such as transferring funds, power up/down transactions and converting steem dollars.
THE PRIVATE MEMO KEYS
The private memo keys are used to decrypt private transfer memos.
TRON PUBLIC KEYS
Tron public keys are used for transfers, it is the address to which the tokens are sent to.
TRON PRIVATE KEYS
The tron private keys has the highest authority on your Tron account, it is also used for signing transactions of Tron such as; transferring tokens, freezing and voting.
