Hello crypto friends,
It is great to be here before you all today again, and I come with a joyful heart.
I believe you are all doing perfectly fine and are enjoying your activities in the community.
We all know that scams are rampant in the world we live in today, ranging from cryptocurrency scams to other forms of scams and today we shall be examining some form of scams available.
Please pay close attention as I unveil some form of scams:
- FAKE CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENT:
Fake celebrity endorsement is another type of strategic scams being used by scammers in our world today.
This form of scam works for newbies or individuals that are not exposed to things in the world.
In this form of scams, individuals comes in the form of a popularly known celebrity and offer users lots of gift if only they can list few of the shows they have performed or few of the movies they have acted.
Obviously, it is not a difficult thing to list the names of movies a popular person acts, and after that has been done, the scammer proceed to tell you that you qualify to get the promised items.
Then with joy in the heart of the receiver, he will ask how he can get his prizes, then he will be linked to a fake courier service.
All of these processes is being done to make the scam look legit, so that the user can easily fall victim.
Then the courier service will ask the user to make a payment of a certain amount so that his prizes can be delivered to his doorstep.
When this payment is being made, the user will be blocked from all angles and he won't be able to get in touch with the courier service anymore.
Yes, I know a little detail about this because my have almost fallen victim to this type of scam before, and for this reason, I decided to share it with others, so no one falls victim again.
- EXTORTION/BLACKMAIL SCAMS:
The word blackmail is familiar to some of us, it is the act of demanding payment or any form of benefits from a user in exchange for keeping his secrets for him.
Here the scammer probably watch your activities or even introduce you into some illegal activities, and take a proof of you engaging in such activities.
Then he demands money or some sort of benefit from you inexchange for keeping your secrets.
Most times, he might not have a proof of you but he blackmails you and use this as a means to extort you.
CONCLUSION
We really need to be careful in the cryptospace and also out there, as there are so many scammers in the world.

That's true and fake celebrity endorsement also find in many real life business scam not only in crypto industry. We should be more careful from any kind of scam. Good points as scam alert.
