BECOMING A CHRISTIAN WITH POWER

Hello dear steemians of the steem church community, I will be sharing with us an important topic today.

We know The bible narrates many dazzling exploits performed by the disciples of Christ. Imagine for a second that you had the opportunity that Peter and all the disciples had!.
I mean having Jesus Christ of Nazareth walk by your side, talk with and mentor you!. Will that make a difference in your life?
Will that make your Christian life more of a success than being a fellow with low access to the power of God?.
Will that be a good indication that you can surmount every obstacle that would raise its ugly head against you?
The truth is that you already have him in you. The fact that you are saved makes it a point to know that Jesus Christ lives in you.
And you can exercise his power!. Maybe you are not making much difference yet with your life and in endeavours as a Christian because you have not realized this powerful truth.

Peter addressed his letter to those "who have obtained like precious faith" as they had. That covers believers of all generations. Peter is saying here that the faith that he and those of his generation had is not different from what any other believer has.

That raises a question? If we have what they had?, why are we not producing results like they did?.
The simple answer is in knowing that though the content is the same, the carriers or the containers are different.
This reminds us of a story. Elisha gave gehazi his rod to go and minister to a dead child; nothing happened.
When elisha got there it was a walkover.
Nothing was wrong with the rod; it was the carrier that needed some examination.

We have some great ministers here today in Nigeria, whose lives we can examine and like them, also become great carriers of God's power.
People like Pastor E.A ADEBOYE, Bishop David Oyedepo etc.
When we supply the type of consecration and dedication shown by Elisha and these other great ministers of God; then we also can enter a LIFE OF EXPLOITS!.
