Colorful kites in the sky...

Hello everyone!

It was May 27 2017, when there's a kite-flying competition was held in my hometown, Siniloan.

I'm thankful to our organization because they made it happened so that some people who doesn't know to fly a kite will have an experience to fly a kite. And they also gave some people a chance to showcase their skills in flying a kite plus, they can also win a prize at that event.

As a teenager, I am grateful that this was happened because first of all, I don't know how to fly a kite. It seems like it's easy to fly one but when you're going to do that now, it's so difficult. And my fellow members said that it was difficult too because they also don't know how to do it.

Good thing, it's been a good day, the sun is shining bright and the wind is enough to fly a kite.

We, the student members managed the registration, we assist the participants, and we also give some snacks to the judges, participants and some visitors in that event.

It's a giant praying mantis on display. At first, when they were just assembling it, I thought they will also going to fly it, but I was kinda disappointed when I knew it was just going to display it. But, it also came to my mind that why will they going to fly it, 'cause it seems like it's pretty hard to make it fly because it's kinda big and I think it's heavy. 😂

Then, after a few minutes they started the event, the participants make their own kite fly up in the sky.

We watched those kites fly, but we can't see it clearly because of the bright sunlight.

And some of the kites flying too high up.

Then, when the event is about to end, my fellow student members had the opportunity to fly a kite because we don't have anything to do.

I started taking pictures of them, and I saw that there's a rain coming to us 😂 because of the dark clouds.

The last photo above kinda caught my eye so, I edited it. Sorry if it's too dark because I'm still newbie that day when it comes to photography.

After that, we cleaned and took some pictures and we went home because the rain poured.
