"A good photo is one that opens your imagination, which brings emotion."

Martine Franck

Here in my blog, I try to interact with those who read and follow my posts. I believe that photographic posts, as is the majority of my emphasis here, is not only you post a photo and hoping to win votes and money with it as is the case here of Steeemit. For this, I use Instagram. I like to tell stories, to express my feelings, reflections, what that photo is about so people feel the same way I felt and I feel when I see it.

A sad reality. It is common to see on the edge of the Capibaribe River several improvised communities of wood. They are homes of many poor people who only want to have their natural property right. .

This door I found in a house that is literally falling apart and that is in the neighborhood of Old Recife. Maybe only this door is more than 300 years old and I was struck by the mystery that exists in the fact that it is open.

There are few photographers who like to develop a story on the photos they reproduce, because it is still the belief of many that the image must speak and tell the story for itself and I admire the photographer that does it and can do it With your photos. If he has already reached this level of photographic evolution he can already be considered a privileged, a myth. And myths in photography are few.

The Darkroom. This relic was at the exhibition on Street of the Jews, in the historic part of Recife.

"More love please". It's what screams a paper glued in a central telephone in the middle of the street.

To photograph, is to put in the same line, the head, the eye and the heart.

Thanks for the story @jsantana

Thanks for your comment @bontonstory

I agree with this so much, @jsantana! The photos that can 'tell all' by themselves are so few. So many other photos are best served by some commentary and insightful reflection. The photographer captured the image for a reason! And in our fast-paced world, especially on Steemit, we don't spend as much time on an image as the amount of information that it contains. So it does help if the photographer can point things out or help us connect with the image in the way the photographer intended. Really nice post!

I'm glad to see your comment here @haphazard-hstead. Thank you very much. The fact is that often some photographers are very self sufficient and believe that they do not need to explain why that photo. It's a bit arrogant, but it's true. I like stories and I do not like to just show a picture, I like to tell stories, even if the story is not a good idea, but it's a story and I made an effort to tell it.
