As it is customary of all years, before or after the Christmas holidays, we go to the beach. A tropical Christmas is what we have here in Brazil, more specifically here in the northeastern region of Brazil, where the climate is much warmer and sunny compared to other regions of the country.

Here in Pernambuco are miles and miles of coastal strip with several beaches. Here in Recife, the most famous and famous is Boa Viagem Beach, a 100% urban beach, where even surrounded by super high buildings around the waterfront, it has its paradisaical characteristic and it is possible to spend a quiet afternoon sitting in an of the chairs of the various tents that are all along the beach, drinking their beer and eating peanuts enjoying the scenery.

I took the time to rest and to get the best pictures of the beach and share with you. Today, December 24th (Christmas) and 31st (New Year), it is very common to find several families who take their tents, tables and plastic chairs in the evening so they can hold their Christmas supper here. An interesting curiosity.

After leaving the sea, we can bathe in this shower to remove the sand and salt.
