There are so many content creators on many other social media platforms have have MILLIONS of subscribers and MILLIONS of views. Their communities follow these top people religiously. Just imagine for a second that these top creators came over to steemit, and brought their followers with them... BOOOOOM! EXPLOSION! STEEMIT HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL
This platform is about to explode. Once the big timers take a look at Steemit, and see that they get paid from posting their content, BOOM. This platform is just minutes from becoming the biggest thing since Facebook.

Very interesting, think about it, most of the people in steemit now is not celebrity, and only around 200k members, so eventually some one who are famous would eventually show up and then everyone will rush to vote for him, leaving the minnows like me go urghhhh
I agree. It takes only 1 social media giant to change the landscape.
There has to be ONE major youtuber at this point who at least knows about steem, i give it by this time next year, it will be a different platform once more people come on board

its like how pewdiepie has millions of views each video for no apparent reason
all the people who actually post decent comment would be knocked down to the bottom while people who post videos of ice bucket and fire challenges would be thrown to the top of the charts
