After announcing that the vote had passed congress for bitcoin to become legal tender, the president revealed this:

Anyone that thinks the US isn't paying attention, isn't paying attention.
Interesting times ahead.
We need a bunch more countries to go this route quickly before the US can try to penalize the one that moves first and scare off the rest...

US government will go after the exchanges that other countries use to cash out the cryptocurrencies... It has already happened with Argentina and few other countries...
There is special task force of US government that tries to hack common exchanges and steal their crypto.
