1st STEEMIT BIRTHDAY!
Nailed it on so many levels, wouldn't you say!?
Hooray......It's my 1 year Steemit Birthday! Technically, it was Sept. 17th, so its a few days late, but whatever. It fits so perfectly into my theme today: So many things gone so wrong, yet so many things gone so right.
This past year has seemingly mirrored on Steemit what I've experienced in my life. So much anticipation with so many plans, only to face the reality of current skill, resource level, and implementation ability. Don't get me wrong, I'm super happy with where I'm at, but it wasn't as easy and smooth as it could have been. I mean let's face it, I moved from Minneapolis, MN to Austin TX, but alot of stuff got wrecked and lost during the move, and cost waaay more than I originally figured. Now I get to swim outside at the end of September in a natural spring pool, and get to have a Banana plant in my backyard! Similarly, I had to stretch to make an investment in Steemit last year only to see the value of the investment drop...significantly. I also had to face the reality that I'm not gonna get rich or be able to support myself on Steemit alone. Now, I have amazing friends from all over the world that would literally open their doors and welcome me, just for being me! Even with this Hard Fork thingy...I'll be the 1st to admit that I don't understand what it does or why...but I just saw how it was touted as being almost the next best thing.....then boom, Steemit is unexpectedly shut down for a couple of days. We're back up now but how loudly did you complain? For me it remains to be seen how the fork will affect me, I was just happy to have an opportunity to learn about something new! It's all perspective I think. How do you want to experience your journey?

The post that sucked the most was this post It is just an image without even description I know you can do way better than this, sometimes 1 image express more than 1 thousand words but this is not always true.
I like this awesome post of course because I'm in it, haha. The truth is that the post capture a moment that was more vivid and awesome than the post itself but it is a great thing to share the meet up with the community.
I'm sure this FML post is the description of FML itself even loosing you were wining almost $10 worth of rewards.
