BB King Strand Is Magical

I scored this little gem yesterday. I'm sure you have heard of it.. some beautiful, so tasteful, sticky icky... BB King. It has super bright purple buds and long orange hairs. This thing is covered in crystals too, just gorgeous. The bud is extremely soft, dense and very sticky. The smell on my finger tips was something else!

I'm not really a blunt or joint kind of guy, I like to use a chillum an get the true taste of the bud. Before taking any puffs, I ate some mango about 45 minutes prior to smoking. In case you do not know, myrcene, which is the terpene responsible for giving mangoes their unique smell, is also found in high concentrations in hops and cannabis. Myrcene has a light earthy and fruity clove like odor in small amounts, but in higher concentrations like those found in hoppy beers, the odor can be much stronger. A Swiss study of 16 different marijuana strains showed that myrcene was the most common terpene present in each plant. The presence of myrcene in marijuana and mangoes is the connection that begins to explain why mangoes can get you higher. Not to mention they taste amazing.

Anyway, so I let that settle on my stomach and packed a fresh little bowl. The first hit was..wow. The smoothest hit ever, so fruity and earthy tasting. It just tasted so natural..haha. The smoke reeked of course. I closed my eyes and inhaled and it reminded me of being at a reggae show and smelling all the wonderful smells of everyone firing up.

I'm a very light smoker, so the first puff hit me almost instantly. I could feel it combining with the mango for sure.
I'm guessing it was an indica strand because my body was floating haha. I didn't feel stoned, just super relaxed and my body felt relieved of all stress and pain. I took another toke and grabbed my guitar. I could have just been high, but the songs I sang sounded better than ever haha. I was one with the guitar and could hear every note in my head before I strummed it. The high lasted a good hour and a half. I'm sure the mango and my tolerance had a good part of that.

I recommend it 100%. It's a great upfilter and extremely mellow. Never at any point did I feel anxious or paranoid. It was hands down the dopest dope I eva smoked. Here is one of the songs I played while I was floating on BB King, it is very appropriate to the subject haha.. Enjoy!
