Just a few trains have very unusual, exclusive, "custom" design of the wagons - I encounter them on occasions from time to time, and luckily I was able to take a few pics. This design advertize the Mariinsky Theatre. St.Petersburg is famous for its theatres and museums - you know, the city is the Cultural Capitol of Russia.

This train also has not the most common wagon's design: this is an updated modernized version. (In this photo, the train arrived at the Avtovo station, which is also known as "Stalin's underground palace" and is included in all sorts of top-lists of the most beautiful and interesting tube stations around the world).

Inside of the wagon, the picture is always the same: all of the folks sit and stare into their smartphones. I found it a bit disencouraging.

Underground train late at night, isnt it charming? I don't know why, but I really like traveling late at night, on a last train - when there are only a few folks accompany you in the wagon. It's a strange and a little apocalyptic pleasureable feeling ... Part of the fun (maybe) is the mind game of looking at these belated occasional companions and imagining where they're coming from and how their day ended.
