Neva embankment panoramas
Post goes for week 55 of Architectural Photography challenge, run by CCH community.

On this photo one may see (due to a tricky point of view I took - across the Neva river) simultaneously several places of intrest: St. Isaac's Cathedral, the spire of the Admiralty, the Rostral Columns. I doubt it is an iconic lookout point, and thats especially why it was intresting for me to make this capture.
Famous Imperial Navy cruiser 'Aurora', which is put to permanent parking and converted into the historical museum. One of the city's iconic places of intrest, definitely worth a visit when you come to St.Petersburg.
A little but indispensable bonus, sidestep - and you see seagulls resting on the boat's tent. It is always interesting to watch for these birds activity, they are quite expressive and sometimes provide interesting visuals. But not this time - here they were just resting... although quantity may turn into quality too!
