Mastercard is going to get a patent for its new technology that allows you to speed up the addition of nodes to the blockchain.

Mastercard figured out how to reduce the verification time and speed up navigation in the blockchain. Their system will allow nodes to communicate and verify with the content of a particular block. This will reduce the time that is spent synchronizing nodes that represent a copy of the transaction history on the network.
In addition, the system will introduce "quick tracking flags" when adding blocks, with their help nodes will quickly scan the contents of blocks. To implement the changes, it is assumed to use a special configuration blockchain.
