How my Journey to Uyo was successful today Oct 16th 2021

Helo Fellow Steebians. It really pleased me to share the story of my journey to Uyo, the very first time in my life.

I started the journey around 4p.m. from Aba, Abia State. I was told that Uyo is very close to Aba, Enyimba City and that it is about 1 and half hour journey, but due to bad roads it was meant to be 2hrs Journey.

Actually, I traveled alongside with my husband. We boarded a Kekenapep from my street by chartered agreement. Yes, we had to charter the Kekenapep because we were almost running late to the AKTC Park. This was as a result of my underestimating the power of time factor.

The tick-talk movement of the clock seems so slow, but I never knew it was so fast indeed. We planned moving on time, but I decided to make some sales reason is because we didn't want to get there in the afternoon time but in the evening so that we can enjoy the serenity of the whether atmosphere of the road.

We alighted at the AKTC Park where many buses, Sienna, Station Waggon were lined up for passengers who were on board for the same journey. My husband moved to the office of the AKTC for a purchase of our tickets. I stood by the side of those vehicles until he came back with the tickets. One for me and the other for him. That is to say, he booked for two seats. He searched for the motor that has our tickets no, until he found it. It a Sienna.

Three persons were already in the Sienna. I asked the driver how many passengers are to seat in the first row after the driver's seat, he said he is only permitted to carry three passengers per row, I said ok. I sat very comfortably beside my husband. We had the opportunity to chatt and ddiscussed.

Our mottor was set for the journey. We passed through ogborhill straight to Obikabia. By the time we got to Mbgoko Umuoria, we started seeing police check points. Each checkpoint we passed, they will stop us ànd collect some token under handfolded way. The collection became too much for the driver to bear. He refused to drop the usual token for the police men on check, we were asked to park well. Once a driver was asked to park well, know that he did not rojer them, then they will demand for your driving licence.

We stopped for the proper check. Everyone in motor started saying 'driver settle them oo! We want to get there on on time. At the end, he dropped the stipulated amount required of him.

On our way going, we bought some bunches of bananas and groundnut. 🍌🍌which we ate. In fact, if you eat them together, is so sweet and well blended.
We passed through many bridges and culvates.

Finally we arrive at Uyo. So beautiful a city. I liked the city. The roads were well decorated and clean. Very good landscape unlike abia state. Traffic light were observed.
We got to the place we came for.
Our children we already waiting to see us, as they came and welcomed us.

We visited a shopping mall called Market square. We bought so many things for our 🏠 upkeeps. Groceries, bevarages, fruits, drinks etc.

We were taken to a VIP corner, where we were served with a well prepared dish, Nkwobi(isii ewu) point and kill, smoothy, chicken perpery ànd drinks of our likes by a well dress waitress.

Our children really made us proud that day. My joy knew no bound. I was on a high estacy as being in a new evironment. This is good. Sometimes you widen out not being confined in a particular place for many years, seeing the same set of people, environment and neighborhood. No, monotony kills interest.

Conclusively, we were set and ready to go. An online sport car taxi was ordered by my son, to carry us back to his home. The driver came immediately and took us home. What a loving children they are. May Jehovah bless them for me.

My journey was a mouths watery one and successful indeed. May all glory be ascribed to Jehovah God for making this journey a successful one.
