[joyart] on DISCOVERING YOURSELF

So today i was looking through my gallery when i came across some artworks i did
way back in the times that i wasn't outstandingly good with my art.
During those days, i remember asking myself why i couldn't be as good as my friends, why i had to sit on a drawing for months, why i had issues getting the correct proportions1. item, as well as reasons for my inability to achieve a good level of tonal gradation and much more.
Looking at the works, you might feel they're good enough and choose to disagree with me; however I'd love to add that the standard for producing artworks differ in different societies therefore, in order to reach that mark, you must be able to meet up with the standards............
Now.... I'd love you to know that there were so many occasions in the past, when i thought of giving up my career because i felt i wasn't good enough; moreover there were many occasions when my works were rejected, but then i gave myself the better option of working harder, dedicating my time, being consistent, patient, discovering my setbacks/finding ways to make them right and above all believing in myself.
To end this in a grand way, I'd love to thank all of you who spared some time to read this post and at the same time implore you to never give up in failure cause there are so many ways to discover yourself; it doesn't matter the number of times you fail, what matters is your ability to stand tall and aim straight at your target........ Hope I've been able to reach out to someone with this post; would be great to know your thoughts.

Wow! With your post, feels like we have something in common.
My case was my dad didnt believe in my passion, he gave me all the reason being a hairstylist is the worst profession when I discovered my passion for hair making at age 14 but I believed in me, I fought for my passion, even though the scars are all gone now.
Thank God you didnt give up!
Your dream is your baby, feed it, nurture it till it re-produces offsprings. You are closer than you think talented one😉
I believe it takes a courageous person to live up to their dreams; and a determined
Mind to deal with the challenges that comes with it...... Thumbs up dear for believing in your self and passion; it's worth it.
Keep the fire burning
Keep it up too honey 😍

Consistency is key. Am glad you went ahead. They were a good start....
Definitely.... It's the best way out
True true true, your grind and you are here today and from the way I see things, greater heights yet awaits you. I am truly inspired by your story. I recently started learning coding and its not been easy, now I know I have to push harder. As a doctor I want to be able to code hospital management systems to make life more efficient in my field.
Thanks for sharing and by the way, those art look great....I love it, and I love the fact that you were not satisfied by those because that is the mark of greatness!
You can't ever give up; i believe with your flare, learning coding would be great..... I believe in you, hold on tight and keep up the good work
Thanks for finding my post meaningful, i feel encouraged
