Hello everyone Today I would be sharing with us some herbal remedy to hair, skin and stress through our herbal hair tonic, herbal skin mask and our herbal relaxation bath.

Herbs can be found all around you but the challenge most of us have is discovering it usefulness.

Today let's do justice to so herb 🌿

Herbal Hair Tonic: Make a herbal hair tonic to promote the health the of the hairs. Write the herbs used in the tonic. Explain how the tonic will help for the hair health. Write the step by step process of making hair tonic. (3 Marks)

Hair they say is the beauty of every woman, but I say hair is the beauty of every body and as such should be given a lot of attention.

for this assignment I would be sharing my favorite hair tonic made with 100% herb.

for this tonic we would be using four different herb.

  • Cinnamon
  • Clove
  • Onion
  • Hibiscus

For this tonic we would be using half liter of clean lukewarm water

One and half stick of cinnamon, one table spoon of clove, one table spoon of Hibiscus flowers and a small size onion bulb.

the next thing you do is chop your onions, wash your Hibiscus flowers, Clove and cinnamon to eliminate dust.

The third step would be to get a clean container, your water and all four herb in to the container allow to sit in the water overnight approximately 12 hours.

lastly, drain the water and use .

HOW TO USE

You apply it to your already washed hair and allow it to sit on your hair for 30 minutes to one hour and wash of with just water before making your hair.

you can apply this tonic twice a month for an effective result.

Cinnamon when applied to hair can do wonders because of it's antioxidants and also antimicrobial qualities.
no wonder my mother calls it her magic stick.

cinnamon is not just wonderful as a flavor but it can help enrich our hair and skin in no small way.
cinnamon can be used to treat malassezia fungus that also causes hair dandruff.

cinnamon helps blood circulation on the scalp and the resultant effect of this is hair growth. thereby reducing the amount of hair loose a person experience because it would also strengthen you hair follicles.

onion
onion is rich in sulfur and sulfur help with collagen which aids healthy hair cells.
the nutritional value of onion juice can shine your hair, circle blood flow on your scalp and it also strengthen your hair follicles.

onion when applied to hair can calm hair irritation because of it's antioxidants qualities too.
onion applied to hair can slow hair aging popularly know as gray hair.

onion juice can be safe for a lot of people but some might be allergic to it, before you add onions to the tonic, apply a small amount of onion juice on your scalp and check if you would react to it.

HIBISCUS FLOWER

This is not just a healthy drink but also a healthy herb for the hair.
it is filled with a lot of essential vitamins for the hair when infused into the hair.

In Hibiscus infusion you would find nutrients like. amino acids,

  • vitamin C,
  • mucilage fiber,
  • flavonoids and
  • antioxidants.

This herb is very effective for the treatment of split end, keeps the scalp moisturized which makes this particular tonic recommended for dried hair. and also assist in blood circulation, improving hair growth and strength.

This herb has been known to strengthen hair follicles leaving your hair stronger and healthier.

CLOVE
this wonderful herb spice is rich in vitamin K, this vitamin helps in the treatment of dandruff and for a healthy blood circulation in the scalp.

Clove helps in thickening the because of it's anti-inflammatory properties

eugenol in clove help your hair grow faster. so if you are aiming for your hair to grow longer and faster. this tonic is the real deal because all power Clove is active.

Skin Care Mask: Prepare a mask for the skin purely made with the herbs and use at least 3 herbs to prepare a mask. Write down the procedure and explain how it helps for the skin care. (3 Marks)

How many of us believes that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder? Hope you also know that your beauty can be in the eyes of every beholder?

if your answer is no to the second question then you should try this mask.

For this mask we would be using three major herbs.

  • Aloe vera
  • lemon juice
  • Banana.

The first we do is to get a clean container to mix our ingredients very well.

secondly, we extract one table spoon of lime juice from our lemon, mash our banana, and extra one table spoon of get from our aloe vera.

Thirdly we mix very well with our properly washed hand until we form a paste.

lastly we apply on our face and body, allow it to sit for 30 minutes before we wash it off.

this can be done twice a week.

  • aloe vera
    this particular herb in this mask, helps moisturize the skin, also because of it's anti-inflammatory properties it helps reduce inflammation known as swelling and redness of the skin.

Aloe vera can be used to treat sunburn and minor burns.

for the treatment of acne aloe vera is your go to plug. the presence of aloe vera in this skin mask make all this possible.

  • lemon juice

if you have ever wondered how to brighten your skin and even your skin tone, then go for this mask because of the infusion of lemon juice.

lemon juice is enriched with vitamin c, it also helps the face look younger and firm because of the collagen in lemon juice.

lemon juice is know to help treat acnes, reduce premature aging while brightening the skin and giving it a natural healthy glow.

  • Banana
    This herb is rich in vitamin A (for removal of fine line and wrinkles) and vitamin c ( for brightness of skin)

When you add banana to a mask you can be rest assured that the body mask would help fight free radicals.

The combination of this three herb for body mask, is a most try for everyone who is interested in maintaining beauty.

Relaxing Bath Soak: Make a bath soak with herbs and write about its benefits for relaxation and self care. (2 Marks)

With the kind of stress we go through everyday, we sure need to pamper our body with this herbal relaxation bath.

This is recommended for all skin type.

Rosemary, blended mustard seed and of course Hibiscus flower.

The combination of this three would sure give you the relaxation you are craving for .

Rosemary is aromatherapy in nature there by reducing stress. It can aid blood circulation and also reduce swelling of the skin.

Hibiscus flowers on the other hand helps, improve your skin texture, giving a younger look, through it amazing vitamins.

With Blended Mustard seed you can assure of open pores and also your muscles would be relaxed.

For 25 liters of water you would be needing 2 table spoon of rosemary, half table spoon of blended mustard seed and a generous handful of hibiscus flowers

This three herb infusion is a most try for you as I can guarantee you a well deserved bath.
