HOUSE HUNTING
This is my 2nd day or actually the 3rd one that I am not in the mood to write anything. I don't want to squeeze anything just to post something I am not happy with the outcome. One of the things why I am not into writing today is because we are planning to t the transfer to another house. Our contract will end this 31st of March and there are many things to consider here in United Arab Emirates before transferring and these are:
- Rent
- No. of rooms
- Location
- Mode of payment
- Other flatmates to go with you
- Size of each room
- Last BUT definitely not the least - BUDGET
We are on a house hunting since last week. The building manager where we are staying today are actually trying to talk and offer us his other flat in the same building but I think there are some better options than what he was offering. We have narrowed down our list as of yesterday and we are choosing Nasco building, the same building where we rented our flat 2 years ago but I hope it is still available until a week before the end of March. We don't want to talk to the agency today because they might start the contract midweek of March which we are avoiding to pay in double - rent in our flat we are staying in and another rent to this new one. Another concern I have in my mind which usually wakes me up every time we do the househunting is the transferring of the of water and electricity and internet to another flat which takes so much time and the hardest is the transferring of the entire things, furniture and everything in your house. I remember exactly 2 years ago, and a very pregnant me, helping my husband transferring things everyday to our flat. Maybe that's the reason why blood sugar went down because it was a sort of exercise for me. Transferring heavy things before going t work and after work so by the time our contract day ends, we will be transferring only a few things. Thinking of these makes me tired but I need to for a smooth transfer. I hope things will be easier this time, unlike the past 2 years.
