Heaven Sent

    This is by far the most favorite photo of mine.

    This is my husband and son while waiting for a cab going to his Aunt's (husband's cousin) house to leave him there while I and my husband goes to work. This reminds me of our difficult experience of sending our little one to his Aunt everyday. It was the beginning of summer here in United Arab Emirates. The struggle of looking for a cab and also the cab fare are real. Since my husband at that time didn't have a car yet, he needs to take cab and bus too at work hopping from one pharmacy to another for his items and that includes us sending our little one to his Aunt and taking a cab again when we fetch him before going home after our shift ends. He works as a merchandiser by the way. Our daily expenses for the fare alone was 80.00 AED (22.00 UDS) and 2400.00 AED (650.00 USD) monthly, a hard punch to our budget because we only earn minimum wage here. My husband was also taking driving classes at these times. Sleepless nights because he was helping me taking care of our little one at night, tired from walking and commuting everyday, not enough money in his pockets and those sunburns especially on his forehead (which I am glad totally gone now) because of the daily "sunbath" at work.

    We talked about this situation earlier while coming here a work and realized​ we survived it. It was hard but we did it anyway and we will always be grateful to all the people who assisted us especially to my sister @marieeugene. This picture is my favorite not only because they both look good in here but because it reminds me of the love and sacrifices of my husband for us.
