Dear friend, you must realize that whether you succeed or fail, those who will criticize you will still do. You may only avoid criticism by saying nothing, doing nothing and being nothing. But you are created for greatness.

The fear of criticism has kept so many from daring great things and achieving their dreams.

John and Greg Rice are famous twins who became millionaires. But when you consider where they came from, their success is nothing short of a miracle.

Their parents abandoned them at the hospital when they were born and the doctor diagnosed a medical condition that would not allow them to grow to full height. John and Greg Rice grew to be only three feet and eight inches tall each.

It took nine months after they were born for the government to find a caring family to take them in. It was that family that gave them a good foundation for the future. Before they graduated from high school, both foster parent died. It was a big misfortune. Not long after, they got into real estate and then went into public speaking.

Some people in the media spotted them and things changed for good and they were given a powerful platform to do their public speaking. Their company is called ‘Think Big’.

What is your own handicap? What is the excuses you have given for not achieving your dreams? There is no single reason in the world why you should not succeed.

Impossibilities only exist in the mind. What you think is impossible may be possible if only you can solve some of the problems standing on the way. And that only requires some creative ideas.

WIN ON PAPER
When you sit down and are able to calculate clearly on paper how your vision will come to pass, faith then rises in your heart.

There is an assurance that comes on you if you have been able to work it out on paper about what you want and how you are going to do it, step by step. Eventually, you may change some things you are not comfortable about. But at the end everything works out on paper. At this point, faith becomes real; it’s no longer vague. It becomes a reality and produces a motivation for action in your heart. That is Faith.

One of the interesting thing I have seen in my part of the world is the fact that many people believe in success by chance. Even some who believe in God. This is an error. We must develop faith, then plan.

Lack of planning frustrates

Don't fear.
The highway of fear is the shortest route to defeat. The fear of failure is one of the greatest reason for failure.

The fear of criticism has kept so many from daring great things and achieving their dreams. The question they ask is, “What will people say”?. To be realistic, no one enjoys criticism. It hurts our self-esteem and undermines our confidence. This fear destroys initiative and affect the use of the imagination.

When this fear is present, it makes one timid and insecure in meeting strangers. It results in nervousness and poor memory.

Dear friend, you must realize that whether you succeed or fail, those who will criticize you will still do. You may only avoid criticism by saying nothing, doing nothing and being nothing. But you are created for greatness.

So conquer the fear of criticism

     DARE TO SUCCEED

I once heard the story of a drunk who drank himself into a stupor and staggered home late every night. One night, he was staggering and singing as usual on his way home when he fell into a grave that was dug for someone who had just died in the town. The road to the drunk’s house was through the cemetery.

The drunk made several attempt to jump out of the grave but could not. So, he decided to hide in the shadow cast by the moon on one side of the grave.

A short while after, another drunk fell into the same grave; he made attempts to jump out but could not. So, the first drunk decided to encourage the second man to wait with him in the grave till morning when people would help them out. As he touched the second man and spoke with his sluggish voice, the second man screamed, jumped out of the grave and escape into the night.
From this, we learn that we are always more capable of things than we dare to attempt. Do not wait for adversity to challenge your ability.

Challenge your abilities. Dare great things.

God bless day!

COUNT THE COST
The quantity surveyor is the person who calculates the cost of different aspects of a building project. But the quantity surveyor is jobless until the architect, the structural engineer, the mechanical engineer and electrical engineer have all finished their jobs. So counting the cost is a process that factors in everything.

Always do an assessment of what it will take to achieve your objective, and do not start what you cannot finish. Take out time to factor in everything it will cost you to achieve all that you want to be.

Do you want to be a CEO of an organization, a governor or president? You must look beyond the title and prestige. Assess what it will cost you to get there, then, be willing to pay the price for your prize.

Be determined; success comes only to people who are committed to their dreams, objectives and assignments.

A plan is no plan without calculations.

Happy Sunday!!!

BE CONSISTENT
Consistency is one of the keys to success. You need to do the new things you want to do, and the new things you want to say consistently over a period of time until it becomes your habit to do it that way. On the average, it takes 21-30 days to cultivate a new habit.

Do not act on your habit today and then switch over to the old one tomorrow. Check on your progress and make up your mind that no matter how long it takes, you are going to stay right there until you get the job done. The important thing is, do not start and stop arbitrarily.

Human language has been corrupted. Most of the things we say are negative.
