ARE YOU WISE?

Those who "built their houses on rock" (put their trust/lives in the Lord) will be called WISE.Those who "build their house on sand" wherein when rain comes, the streams rose, winds blew and beats against the house, are the FOOLISH ONES.

This image above is a good depiction of the Verse about the wise building a house on top of a Rock though the image is not real, but the message of the Verse we have is so real that if we apply it in our lives makes us wise. We can apply it in literal, when we are planning to build our house.

Building a house with a good foundation makes it sturdy against the wind and earthquakes. The same with our Faith, if this faith is build on a good foundation, the Rock himself, which is the Lord Jesus Christ, we can be sturdy and firm whenever trials come in. For storms in life are inevitable, it is important to trust in the One who can calm the storms and is able to give peace within our hearts.

Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can be developed through our constant devotion to His Word- the Bible. Rom. 10:17 says , "Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God..." The time we spend in reading and hearing God's word is the time we are feeding our Faith. It will eventually grow, so that when trials come, we can conquer them. Storms and trials in life prove our Faith.

Trusting in God is the Action of Faith. Trusting is knowing we are safe in God's hand whenever trials come and this proves our Faith. This then will make us wise.

Many ideas of men may come...but still we have to go back in God and in His Word. Some may trust in the New technologies but nothing beats the Word, for it was proven for thousand years ago until now. Let us meditate the Word(Bible), and keep on Trusting in the One who is the Logos or the Word who became flesh and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing is impossible to Him and unto him who trust in Him...

Will you be wise my friend? To whom will you put your Trust and keep the Faith?
