Bogota from another perspective - Photography and reflection

Recently I had the opportunity to visit a neighborhood in the city of Bogota. Considered as a red zone as far as insecurity is concerned. Its name is Ciudadela Sucre...And, in effect, it is a population that is humble, of scarce resource.

It's almost 5 kilometers from the main avenue, which I have to walk, looking for an address. This population is on a hill (in a hill we would say in my country, Venezuela), so I traveled that distance, going up, because I must also point out that it is in one of the highest areas of Bogota.

But regardless of the social class to which they belong, or Estrato, as it is called in Colombia, they are people as much as you, or as I, who simply struggle day by day to resolve their livelihood.

If it's exhausting to go one day, I don't want to imagine what it means every day to go down from the top of the hill to the city to work, and then come back at night, a pilgrimage literally.
