The New Development and Changes in the Steemit Platform

Hello, Steemian, greetings to you, and how do you do? It is nice to have you here today, as it interests me to share with you the new changes in Steemit. Many users are wondering about the new development they saw in Steemit on June 20, 2023, which is why this post was written. About 9 months ago, the launch of the Development Incentive Program was announced by the Steemit team, which you can read about below.

Steemit Update [Sep 30th, 2022]: Steemit Development Incentive Program—Proposals Welcome

At the launch of the intensive Program, everyone on the platform was invited to give his or her ideas and suggestions on changes or developments that would make the Steemit platform more valuable and entertaining to everyone. However, the Steemit team shared with us ideas of their own, which many other users also shared. Before talking about the new development, let's take a look at the initial ideas of the Steemit team below.

Delegations (clearer display of delegators and delegatees; delegate and revoke delegations to another user)

API Endpoint Options: View and choose APIs (default to api.steemit.com)

Templates and Drafts (restoring drafts or storing drafts in the cloud, selecting templates to start a post from)

Filter posts by category or tags (easier search of the user’s posts by categories and tags; complex queries—for example, view posts written during the last World Cup with payout greater than an amount)

Looking at the screenshot above, you can see that we now have Templates, Post, Save Drafts, and Load Draft. With this new change, you can draft your content and come back and continue it at any time you are ready to complete it, unlike before.

Loading (more) Comments (configure preferences to load only a few comments on the page)

Looking at the screenshot of the image above, you can see a new change in the comment section on every post, unlike before, where once you open a post, you scroll down. This makes the loading of posts, especially old content, faster. With this new development, seeing spam comments will be a thing of the past since you will not see such a comment directly until you tab on Load Comments.
