The one do you prefer and why?

When it comes to serious reading like when I am preparing to write an examination the method of reading that I do prefer to use to retain knowledge or information is via Physical Books. However, I do enjoy reading e-books also and when I was in school, because of the availability of e-books, I stopped visiting the school library.

Technology has made the way we obtain information so easy and despite this advancement of technology, I still prefer reading physical books to e-books when I am preparing to write an examination. In reading physical books I focus more on what am studying than e-books which is why I prefer physical books.

Which format helps you focus better and remember what you read?

The format that helps me to focus better and remember what I have read is the physical book reading format. The physical book format helps me to avoid distractions that I would have gotten from my phone. One thing about me, when it comes to physical reading is that I do keep away anything that would distract me from reading aside such as my phone.

I pay more attention to reading physical books than when reading e-books because I can easily get distracted by my phone when a notification enters my phone, I will leave what am doing to check the notification which by doing so I have been distracted but if it is physical books that I am reading I wouldn't get to see notification messages coming in because I do keep my smartphone aside when reading physical books.

Whatever that has advantages also has its disadvantages which both types of reading have which I have shared below based on my experience.

Which format helps you avoid distractions while reading and how?

Physical books are the format that helps me to avoid distractions while reading. The reason why reading physical books helps me to avoid distractions is that whenever I am reading physical books I keep away from anything that will distract me from reading physical books.

I usually keep my smartphone aside anytime I am reading physical books and by doing so, I do pay more attention to the book I am reading which helps me to avoid distractions.

Which is better for the environment?

Reading physical books is better for the environment than reading e-books. More attention is been given to reading physical books which is the reason why it is better for the environment.

Also, physical brings people who are serious about learning together. Physical books help students to share valuable information among themselves.
