Design with PowerPoint

Introduction:

Hello kids, Greetings to you from @josepha. I trust you are doing well with your loved ones. As I always love writing, today I am here again to talk about another interesting topic in PowerPoint presentation. In our previous discussion, we learned about the PowerPoint User Interface. In this very post, you are going to learn about PowerPoint presentations, like how you can create a new presentation and many more. Let's get started.

Presentations are created in PowerPoint. In order for you to begin a new project in PowerPoint, you must first create a new presentation. This presentation can either be completely blank or based on a template. You'll also need to know how to open a presentation that is already open on your computer.

How to Create a New Presentation:

You'll frequently want to start with a brand-new, empty presentation when starting a new project in PowerPoint.

Step1: To access the Backstage view, select the File tab.

Step2: On the window's left side, click New, then choose Blank Presentation.

Step3: A new presentation will start at this point.

How You Can Easily Create a New Presentation Via Template:

A presentation template is a premade slide show that you can use to quickly generate a new one. Frequently, templates come with unique formatting and designs.

Step1: To reach Backstage view, click the File tab, then choose New.

Step2: To find templates, you may either use the search box or a recommended search by clicking on it. We'll use the keyword "chalkboard" as an example.

Step3: Select one.

Step4: Deciding on a template. There will be a preview of the template and more details about how to utilize it displayed.

Step5: To utilize the chosen template, click Create.

How You Can Open an Existing Presentation Via Template.

The chosen template will be applied to a new presentation.

In addition to making new presentations, you'll frequently need to open a presentation that has already been made.

  • To access the Backstage view, select the File tab, then click Open.

  • Selecting "Open"

  • Choose Browse. To open files stored on your OneDrive, you can also select OneDrive.

To convert (Export) a presentation: You can convert a presentation to the most recent file format if you wish to use the newer features.

  • Be aware that changing a file may result in some changes to the presentation's original layout.

  • Select a file tab to access the Backstage.
