Economic Activities: My shopping activities at a local market (1st-11-2023)
Happy new month friend. Indeed I am so excited today right from when I woke up from sleep went shopping at a local market and came back. Today, I visited the market again as I often do, and shared with you.
Being 1st of the month, before I went to work I decided to go shopping at the market first, so I could get better things to buy in the market. As I stepped on my feet inside the market, I went to my customer store and met with people transacting business with my customers. I.e. buying and exchanging money.
I waited for them to finish so my customer could attend to me very well. At my customer store, I gave him my shopping list. It is not everything that my customer could provide for me from his store. However, I was able to buy and make payment for the following items.
Items | Price in Naira | Price in Steem |
---|---|---|
Rice | 2,900 | 11.5 |
Vegetable Oil | 1,200 | 5 |
Garri | 1000 | 5 |
Eggs | 1400 | 5.5 |
Spices | 600 | 2.5 |
After I had finished shopping at my customer store, I went and bought perishable items such as pepper, onions, and tomatoes at a total cost of 500 Naira which is equivalent to 2 Steem from the seller point above.
After, buying perishable items, I then went to a mini store and purchased my bathing soap and detergent from the mini store which is shared above. After my shopping at the store, I left the market in a hurry entered a taxi, and went to my apartment which I then prepared and went to work.
