Quality of Life?

Lately and recurrently I have read in the local and international media a phrase that seems to me very suigeneris the same is "Quality of life".

In all of them, the same is summarized in the ability of the individual to have food, goods, services and even entertainment with the amount of money he obtains as a result of his work or labor.

In summary, the "Quality of Life" is associated with money or the economy of each person and in some cases the correct provision of services, security, education, health and other things by the State or government.

And I have many doubts.

Can someone who squanders money on alcohol, prostitution, drugs or other things, despite fulfilling his social obligation to keep his household supplied with food, clothing and necessities, have a quality of life?

Can someone who does not meet human and social standards have quality of life?

Can someone who has no culture or education have quality of life even if he earns a lot of money?

The line between quality and quantity is as thin as that between freedom and licentiousness.

The term is so diffuse that it becomes abstract when it comes to evaluating what kind of life each person or family group leads.

It is even possible to have it without complying with the generalized or imposed parameters that define it.

Personally, I believe that the quality of life of an individual is more linked to the emotional part than to the material, because it is there where the human being naturally feels pleasure bifurcated in different ways.

And in a globalized world, computer manipulated and psychologically dismembered, product of the convenience of groups that have imposed economic power over the rest, happiness is a feeling in extinction, since, as puppets, the majority is managed on false needs or benefits that in the end are only chimeras that burn and confuse the human being.

The yellowing of information, the manipulation of the food market, politics as a weapon for mass domination, the destruction of education as a way to learn in order to become professional in the future, the convenient deculturalization to distance the individual from a nationalist identity, the privatization of basic services such as health, electricity, education, communications, among others, and the division of social strata to hierarchize the usefulness of the individual, are only part of the weapons that are used daily and that break family harmony and manage to fragment and even destroy the scale of the individual, and the division of social strata to hierarchize the usefulness of the individual, are only part of the weapons that are used daily and that break family harmony and manage to fragment and even destroy the scale of values essential for the human being to live happily and share with their peers, since the end of love makes man a servile pet.

That is why I invite everyone to ask themselves *Do I have quality of life? What do I need to have it?

Hello @joseph1956
The truth is that it is an interesting topic, in view of the fact that we can't have quality of life without money, at least I don't think so, but having a lot of money is not a guarantee that you have it either. It is a concept that has many edges, however it is necessary to talk about it but based on easily measurable parameters, but that do not necessarily speak of the whole reality.

I have quality of life I am happy with what I have and more with all that I can get with my work.
I am a healthy man and loved by my family as well as I love them.
Sometimes the quality of life is in small moments of happiness with what you like to do or with the simplest things you have around you.

Greetings@ joseph1956
I particularly think that the quality of life of the hand of being able to have covered the basic or normal needs of the human being. Example of them being happily married with or without children, with job , house , some vehicle or accessible means of transportation, basic services, with health and lastly being happy with your environment. The rest is profit.
Thank you very much for such an interesting publication, I really enjoyed reading it.

Wow, nice questions "do I have quality of life" it's really a rhetorical question everyone needs to answer and also the question " can a man who squaders his money on alcohol provide the basic necessity of life for his family" I think no is the answer because I feel that a man is suppose to spend first on getting the basic necessity of life for his family before any other thing

Hello @joseph1956, you are very right in all the content of your post, socially it is accepted that the quality of life is related to "the amount of money" that a person has, but the values, morals and education that the person has are not taken into account person, and if this is not in balance, then we could not talk about quality of life.

Great post

Greetings, friend! Honestly, the amount of money you have has no great impact on the quality of one's life, but on the other hand, the amount of money we have is a facility to have a better life. We should also have the concept of "Contentment" with what we have, and love what we've accomplished, and absolutely great things will come our way.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful article.
