Spirit Of The Tiger

It has been a long time since I have visited her poetry page, yet I am always surprised by her elegant writing.

LunasChild8's poems have always had a special way of touching my heart. Her form of writing has a unique quality to it; making you feel like you're not only part of the story but giving you the feel that you are the actual character.

Of course, I didn't need to read this poem to understand the value of women because my mother from childhood taught me well.

'The similarities between woman and tiger are alike. '

That part of the poem I find to be so true. Both are unbelievably beautiful, majestic, and gifts to earth and men. When I say gift, I don't mean in it a sense where we unwrap and then put it on the shelf to play with later.

Both are to be appreciated in the most extreme forms of form.

The appearances of both tiger and woman are fascinating. Being sensitive to a woman and her needs is something that most men should take pride in.

Afterall, man came first but women are the 2.0 versions of mankind's malfunctions.

To women across the globe, you are all beautiful and special.

Once the sun sets, a new world comes to life
Deep in the jungle, a predator awakens
To begin her prowl under the cover of darkness
She’s only seen if she allows herself to be on special occasions.

Only the chosen few are gifted with the spirit of the tiger
A perfect balance between human and beast
Her primal instincts urge her for the hunt
To dine upon this grand, cosmic feast.

Rarely does the tiger meddle with the world’s petty conflicts
Yet when her ire inflames, beware her swift strike!
Her ash-colored eyes track every movement
The similarities between woman and tiger are alike.

This lethal huntress will spare no mercy to her enemies
For she is the queen of this isolated jungle
Whatever form she takes on, her presence is stunning to be around
Her movements are quick and light; she’ll never stumble.

Only the chosen few are gifted with the spirit of the tiger
A perfect balance between human and beast
Her primal instincts urge her for the hunt
To dine upon this grand, cosmic feast.

No matter what is said or done
The power of the spirit of the tiger can’t be matched
Whether it’s her flowing tresses or soft fur that you touch
Remember it’s with her permission; if you try to do so otherwise, prepare to be slashed!
