Don't respect Buffet...he ran out Solar in Nevada. It is a LONG story. But here is the short...he owns solar in Nevada. Didn't want competition so he worked with Nevada Power and other Monopoly Energy companies in Nevada and put a surcharge for anyone going solar. Buffet has a direct sales company in NV. I had several people approach me a few years ago in LV for the solar Buffet MLM. Not many people know about this because it is well hidden.
Why, he donated most of his fortune to good causes.

Kind of hard for me to respect someone like that.
Google, Facebook, Twitter etc. are in the business of selling private information to the highest bidder. In a way, he must think that of people who give away private information online so easily, and allow him to sell it.
I believe we have to rethink the way we give away our data. But in the www it is so easy to give it away.
This is a marathon, not a sprint race, in the end steemit will be the winner.

It'll be very interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks. With Facebook allegedly owing $5B in taxes to the US government with their moving to Facebook Ireland, I wonder how much they will settle their debt for and to see how Ernst & Young justified a much, much lower valuation in their calculations for said move.
