As I walked down from the car into the meeting venue last week. It was a crypto summit at the prestigious Sheraton hotel in Lagos. Onecoin was lunching its crypto adoption in Nigeria and i got an invite to attend the summit. On getting to the entrance I was greeted by a team of hefty looking young men obviously as about the same age range as myself. They reminded me of the David and Goliath story in the bible as I looked so small and was intimidated by their height and size.

There and then something strucked me and I realized that these guys are physically strong, fit and intimidating but the are financially down. Why will someone this big and be so unsuccessful I asked myself? Does the size of a man determine the size of his dreams And pocket?🙅

Well and so I walked into the hall and I immediately noticed that everyone sited there were multi millionaires and I myself am on my way too, but none of them is half as big and built as those bouncers I saw outside.
How can one invest so much time in building something that has no effect on your future? How can one be so big on the outside and so small on the inside?

Then I realized that success isn't a product of hardwork its therefore a product of investment. Yes Investment. If success is a product of hardwork then truck pushers should be successful, if its a product of hard work then manual laborers should be successful. Infact let me shock you, check the list of most successful people in the world they are ordinary guys who have no business in body building they only gym to burn fat if necessary. But 100% of them are body guarded by Guys who are physically built. It brings me now to what we need to do to be successful.

•The right Attitude

Being successful starts with the right attitude towards life and success. You have to first desire success and believe you can be successful. Mind you when I talk about success I don't mean wealth or being rich. Success isn't a product of how much you have success is a product of how much you have touched lives with what you have. The first step towards being successful is to have the right attitude towards life and success. I have seen people who do jot desire success, I feel its personal but for you to be impactful you have to be successful

Have a plan/Vision/dream

Show me a poor man and I'll show you a man without vision. I did a quick survey weeks ago where I was asking young people if Nigeria had a problem, agreeably 99% of them thought the country had a problem but when asked what solutions do they proofer, 90% of them had no idea. Success is in identifying a problem and proffering solutions to it. Check out any successful man in life is solving a problem. Success doesnt just come out of the blues it is a conscious approach. What is your vision? What is your dream? And what's your plan towards achieving it.

Work hard towards it

Its stupidity for a man Who's looking for a job to wake up in the morning at 11am, stretch and do nothing all day expecting a job to descend from heaven. He has to get up, go out and search for opportunities. How can a man not touch his wife and be expecting a child? There some things that just ain't possible. What are to doing daily towards your dreams and vision? Go all out, meet that person, talk to that sponsor, talk to people, share ideas don't just sit and expect things to fall in place. Work towards your vision.

Believe in yourself, be persistent

Personally I see disappointments as fuel for my success. It is normal for people to talk down on your dreams and vision but the moment you stop believing you stop achieving. Believe in the possibilities that You can! Don't talk down on yourself, use disappointments as motivations and keep going. Don't take no for an answer, most of the contracts I've earned do not come by chance it came as a result of my PUSH mentality and never say die attitude. I heard people say " you just never quit" to me time and time again. I just would not quit until i achieve my aim. If its not possible in a certain way, I find another way to get the job done. There are more than one ways to kill a cat be creative.

Invest in Yourself

I realized that if those bouncers invest the same amount of time they do in the gym, working on themselves, getting educated, reading books, taking courses and working towards achieving them will not be opening gates for people who have invested time and resources.
I learnt from an early age that time is money. So if anything you are investing your time in doesn't have prospects of settling you, stop it. Daily equip yourself, read books, take courses, grow, take risks, just invest in knowledge. You cannot have enough of it, know something about anything and everything. Most times when I meet with people they are shocked at how much I know about some things I'm not even expected to know about. The thing is my greatest fear in life is "ignorance" I hate not knowing something. It hurts me not to have at least basic knowledge about something. You should be hungry for knowledge and also ready to learn. Most people feel like they know enough and mind you knowledge isn't education. Knowledge is listening and observation. Something so small can carry a message so great. Position yourself by default to listening and learning.

the greatest investment in life isn't in fortunes and properties, its investing in yourself.

These are not just the only nuggets for success its just my nuggests. Success in life doesn't come by chance, success comes to those who are ready and willing to work hard towards achieving success. Success cannot by any means inherited or transferred, wealth can but success can't. It has to be worked for an earned. You have too much potential to settle for less, you are created for more and better, be the beat you are created to be and I'll see you at the top.
