Peyto Lake, Alberta, Canada
Two weeks ago I went to this beautiful lake in Alberta, Canada called Peyto Lake. It also goes under the nickname 'Fox Lake' since it looks like a crystal blue fox seen from above. Even though there is a huge forest fire going on in BC at the moment, the Rocky Mountains are still absolutely breathtaking and 100% worth going to! I can highly recommend going to Peyto Lake which is located roughly one hour from Banff, Alberta. It is, however, super touristy there since it is such a beautiful lake. I recommend going early in the morning and then get away from the main spot. If you walk as little as 10 minutes up the mountain you'll get to a way less touristy spot so you have time to get the perfect Insta post ;-) Enjoy the walk and the view!
