WAITING FOR HOPE (A Poem)

the tears we see..
Have now become a sea we see.
We have crossed seven seas.
Gnawed under the snow.
We have burnt our skins because the sun refused to glow.
Even when the nightingale starts to tweet a tragic song.
We remain here waiting for hope

Death has come to give us life.
And poverty has taken us for a ride.
Loneliness has become our only companion.
Pain has turned our communion
our friends are now a foe..
Our parents are now people we no longer know
Yet we still kee waiting for hope

Life has given us agony breakfast.
But we eat and still have faith in trust.
The rain has made us realise we're fugitive

But we refuse to be captive.
Because we're waiting for hope

We are never sad, never crying.
Ever pain has keep us trying.
They say we smell of misfortune.
And reek of disgust.
They never knew our birth dates.
Never knew the memory we had of being born

They say we should hang a rope to our necks.
And end our life of shame.
But they never know we're waiting for hope

POETIC ANALYSIS

This poem is about the homeless children that were abandoned with no parental care, however i wrote from their point of view, and they believed that there was hope.

Very sad. I still remember once I brought one street kid home. I fed her for a day. That was fullfilling!
