We are stuck in the drizzle,
gnashing to keep you warm,
crashing to keeping you going
soaked to keep you stainless,
like steel in the sunset's gaze,
walking towards my demise,
love is graveyard awaiting ahead,
but your footsteps are furiously fading
leaving me lonely in a lonely lane

---

Bonded by nothing,
a testament of a forlorn feeling,
once kings and queens,
but now ghosts and ghouls,
our shadows at noon,
no longer colliding
a vivid vapidity without validity
see the seas, our love now like diesease
leprous, unable to yearn embraces

---

Times have passed,
memories soured,
hours in the rain basking in pain,
you left the gallows,
unable to sacrifice it all,
stalling, galloping away like a stallion
riding towards escape
only to dwell in confusion's well.

---

Unilaterally inclining,
a tale twisted and turned,
of how times have churned,
lovers at dusk,
now scampering away at length,
unable to tell the story of how it became
we will forever remain flabbergasted,
unable to speak words of how
we became sands in the storm
