THE HALLOWED LOCUS (An Original poetry)

We've threaded these sacerdotal lanes
enroute to incalculable annihilations
desecrating the spirit's abode
the land is like a glassy sea in enigmatic realms
bringing monstrous debacle
to this pious tebarnacle
clinging to ignorance like a tentacle
stumping on Canaan land,
with transgression afloat the conscience
and a beaming beacon poised to douse
The speeches in fiery dialects
quakes the hearts essences like a volcanoes
glistening like a glittering chandelier
calling to us wavy moans and throttles
we've marooned our faith
and shipwrecked our piety
leaning on perdition like a sword's hilt
the venerated grounds
have seen spilled blood likeca fountain
ecclesiastical dreams tainted in doubt
to footpaths with no means
We're dogs with dying dogma
A perception of pain pricking the heart
Ignorant of Christ's walk to Galilee
we're crucified in our vanity
cursed to be deafened by temptation
The hallowed locus has been besmirched
by philistines, ours faithfully
writhing in our confusions
like a bested snake going into coma
like vegetables growing in cannibal zones.
We've threaded sacred grounds
and now we're unworthy of the sun's smiles
on our scorched temples
vagabonded to trek the miry places
hidden in the earth crusts
we've heard the saviour's halloo
summoning us to the narrow path
on the verge of our consciousness bellows
but we're already on a road to purgatory
