LOVING {An Original Poetry}
Loving is like sitting on the air..
Its like being bald thinking you have hair
Its like wanting a chair
Even when you're sitting on a throne
Loving
is like being Alive..
And buried in a cave..
Its like wanting to be saved..
From being alone
Loving..
Is buying Jealousy, regret pain and remorse with happiness
To your once peaceful mind..
Its bitter than worse..
Its like a beautiful curse
Loving..
Is buying a ticket..
And licensed to be hurt
Loving..
is like embracing a yearn for blood.
When your vampiric spirit is on the loose.
It's like ebbing away with the flood.
To a Destination of scornful confusion
Loving..
Is signing a warrant..
To be an emotional servant
Loving..
Is keeping your heart on the floor..
To be trampled on
Loving..
Is a lesson..
That makes good men..
Cry deep on their pillow
Loving..
Is opening your heart..
To hurts and aches..
To be happily ever after in an abyss of enslaving emotions
Loving..
Is a lesson..
That makes good men..
Cry deep on their pillow

Thanks for sharing. This writing flows like Kipling but it is totally original and cute. The last line has a good punch. Loves does hurt but we must be willing to take the risk. To win the heart we have to open the heart. We are often wounded and giving wounds in the process.
This poem doesn't read as satire to me but as reality. Without sacrifice we could never begin to understand love. Somebody first was wounded, took the blow and then we got it. He didn't have to say, "I'm sorry." But he apologised first for a crime he never did. Love takes the fall. This is the truth but now go one step deeper. How do we respond? Cry deep in your pillow wounded and afraid?
What gives you courage to try again? What gives you power to love even though you know you will be rejected and misunderstood and slapped in the face?
Thank you sharing a poem. I think your own heart was opened a little bit through it. I also need to open my heart a little more.
Peace
