WoodenArm is an open-source robotic arm that can be configured to perform different tasks, such as assisting disabled people, rendering or even to serve as a base for other projects. The best thing is that this small robot is made using recycled wood, it should be noted that the robot can be controlled via WiFi or bluetooth.

There are many robotic arms out there that help almost everyone but the more wonderful thing about is for the disabled persons. It is not only a convenient for the care taker to have substitute but also for the disabled person him or herself to have self confidence in moving alone with the help of a robot. This robotic arm will certainly take part of that convenience and self confidence.
The possible caveat that I see is being made up of wood that may not last as long as the metal ones. But on the other end since it is made up of wood, it can be replaced easily!

Wow, this is a great discovery. Robotic arm made of wood. It would be nice if this could be developed for use by disabled people.
The robotic arm packs a lot of awesome features, being made from recycled wood wins it for me. We need to be conscious of our environment in everything we do.

After i saw a lot of videos from channel, assembly is very easy to do. In addition, programming with default software is also very easy, such as playing block games. So, yes, I'm sure I can do it too.
I search for the price, and i can't find it. I mean, there is the kits to buy, but there is no price written there.
Next, this one is truly amazing because we can use for many purposes. Learning, or help for assist.
There are many people in our society who have problems in hand, who are unable to work with hands well. But they have the mentality to work or to do something. I think it's a suitable device for them.
It can undoubtedly help the disabled people and work as their partner. The biggest advantage is that it is capable of controlling with an open-source robotic arm and bluetooth.

Amazing robotic wooden arm which is manufactured by recycled wood. The gadget is great for helping disabled people and it can also do couple of jobs. WiFi and Bluetooth control makes it more awesome
I haven't gotten the chance to mess around with any robotics equipment since my robotics class in Junior High School years ago. We had robotic arms that were relatively similar (although a lot dumber). This one seems very cool and the open-source aspect is awesome as well. I wonder what kind of crazy use cases people are dreaming up for such a device!
This is to show just how easy a robotic arm can be made even from wood.
