Hi friends!

We have already seen how to draw a hexagon starting from the division of a circle into six equal parts as shown below.

Ya hemos visto cómo dibujar un hexágono partiendo de la división de un círculo en seis partes iguales como se muestra a continuación.

By drawing three alternating strokes towards the centre of the circle as shown in the image below, we get the shape of a cube.

Al dibujar tres trazos alternos hacia el centro del círculo como se muestra en la imagen de abajo, obtenemos la forma de un cubo.

Painting each side of the cube with different colours makes the volume more noticeable.

Pintar cada lado del cubo con diferentes colores hace que el volumen sea más evidente.

To make a tessellation we will make a mesh like the one we did previously for the hexagons.

Para hacer un teselado haremos una malla como la que hicimos anteriormente para los hexágonos.

Drawing the edges with slightly thicker black lines we will see the pattern of cubes.

Dibujando los bordes con líneas negras un poco más gruesas veremos el patrón de cubos.

The pattern of cubes is more evident if we apply colours to each side of them.

El patrón de cubos es más evidente si aplicamos colores a cada lado de ellos.

Even better, the three-dimensional effect is enhanced if we erase the black borders.

Mejor aún, el efecto tridimensional se potencia si borramos los bordes negros.
