Einstein's relativity tells us how to be immortal.

THE VIRTUAL.
Already in another post touched the issue of how to achieve immortality by making a copy of your consciousness and putting it into a computer simulation.

In short, the biggest problem with this technology is that you are not transferring in the strict sense of the term, but making a copy of yourself. Copy your mind in a computer program. This copy will feel that it is you, it will not notice the difference, in fact it will think that you are being the one who is living the new experience. But, really it will not be you, your brain will remain frozen in liquid nitrogen unable to function forever. That person who froze will never wake up.
It is for this reason that mental transference is widely discussed as a technique to achieve immortality. If there would be a being inside a computer conscious of itself, but it would not be one of us.
This is getting complicated, fortunately it is not necessary to use futuristic technology to live longer. Simply use one of the rules that govern this Universe:

SPECIAL RELATIVITY

Special relativity is especially difficult to understand, but let's try it: Imagine that you meet a friend at a train station and the train takes a long time to pass. To kill a little time you decide to calculate the speed of light. To do so, simply point a laser at a person and knowing the distance between the two of you, you count the time it takes to go between the two points. If you do it right, it will leave about 300 million meters per second.
Now imagine that a train is coming but unfortunately it does not stop and it passes by the station at 100 meters per second. But let's take the opportunity: Imagine that in that train there are two friends just like you who are doing the same thing, calculating the speed of light. One at each end of a car, they are launching a beam of lasers to calculate the speed of light.

You will be ready and say: Well, they will get 300 million meters per second plus 100 meters per second because it is the speed they already have with the car, so it is very easy, they will leave 300 million , 100 meters per second. Do not? Well, no, these two people will measure exactly the same as you did, if they do it right: 300 million meters per second.
It is something that has been proven experimentally in both aircraft and satellites. So what is going on here? Well, welcome to Special Relativity, if the speed and distance are the same, the only thing we can change in the equation is:
THE TIME Indeed, the time on the train passes slightly more slowly than that of the people who were standing at the station. It will seem strange to you, but whether we like it or not, this is how our universe works. Do not tell me it's not fascinating. And this is not a bad thing, quite the contrary, although at first it was a problem for the first satellites since their watches did not take into account special relativity, it helps us to be immortal.

Look at this graphic, below you have the speed. C is the speed of light. On the left you have what is called The Lorentz Factor, which indicates that both the time slows down as we go faster. From this graph we can extract that going for example to 299,792,457 meters per second, what is almost the speed of light, what for us would be a second for the people of the earth would be 3 and a half hours. So if we were a little faster, not at the speed of light, which is impossible for matter, and we are matter, we would reach in a certain way immortality. Time would pass the same for us, that is, from your perspective 100 years would pass (as estimated life time), but for you a second could be for the earth millions of years.

If you want time not to happen to you, then you should go to C, at the speed of light. As you can see, the function of the graph is asymptotic, which means that the blue line never touches the black line, this translated indicates that the dilation of time is infinite when you go to the speed of light. In other words, there is no time when you are light. The problem is that the Lorentz factor also tells you the energy you need to reach that speed.
And in the same way that the dilation of time would be infinite, so would the energy necessary for you to reach that speed. Come on, that either you are energy as it is as a photon or you will never be able to completely pass the time. And becoming photons is worse than freezing you. We have started talking about cryogenization and we are already on special relativity. Come on, let's get serious. Is there any really viable way to extend my life indefinitely? VTo be immortal? We'll see in the next post.
