The rings of Saturn are one of the best astronomical events, but they are not going to disappear soon, as some media are saying, it is a simple effect, it turns out that the angle of the rings of Saturn moves slightly with respect to us and there is a moment every 13 or 15 years in which the rings are placed on edge and then we cannot see them among other things because they are extremely thin, they reach a thickness of only 100 meters, this event will occur from March 2025 and will last several weeks.

By the way, if the Earth had rings today it would prevent us from detecting most asteroids and comets that could collide with us and from seeing the other planets, satellites, asteroids and comets, only from the poles, those ancient rings would be a very big impediment to the astronomy.

There are also other moons that revolve around Neptune that could become the planet's rings. In fact, the calculation that I had read a long time ago about Saturn's rings would not require the existence of a gigantic moon, if all the material from the rings were put together. Saturn's rings would now make for a moon of about 100 km in diameter, which is not very big, perhaps in the past it was larger because Saturn's rings are losing material little by little.

We also have Phobos, the moon of Mars that is also on that limit, close to being destroyed by its planet, it will end up being disintegrated and transformed into rings; Mars will have a dusty ring due to the destruction of this Moon holes.
