It all starts with a curiosity; The darkest planet ever detected.

What you see here is a star and to the right, although it is not visible, there is a planet, the darkest planet ever observed, it is the planet TrES-2b, but in theory this planet does not reflect light and in reality it only reflects less than 1% of the light it receives from its star because it is believed to have an atmosphere rich in gases that absorb almost all the starlight, although it emits a faint reddish glow due to its high temperature due to being very close to its star.

They call it the ghost planet, it is practically absolute black, the star it has is called GSC 03549-02811 and is located in the Draco constellation. Its atmosphere is presumed to have gases such as hydrogen, helium, and vaporized potassium or sodium compounds; these absorb most of the light.

Although the exact reason for its dark intensity has not been determined, these chemical elements play an important role. In 2006, the Trans-Atlantic Exoplanet Survey (TrES) program discovered it. Its planet status was made official in 2006.
