Wild or Farmed, Flowers are … Beautiful Flowers

Roses take an important position in our hearts. They often represent what we are doing and how we are feeling. Roses on Valentine’s Day and weddings convey our love for us. White roses in a funeral also show the love we have for the decreased.

We also know that no matter how much love roses represent for us, they grow with thorns, making them hard to pick with a bare hand. We are told that it is the way plants adopt to protect themselves, so that they can grow without extinction.

On the other hand, wild flowers, we call them wild, is it because they grow without thorns and they grow without worries of extinction (?) Wild flowers often smaller in size are beautiful with their own right. They don’t need a gardener to prune them, feed them or shelter them. They grow under the same sun, strongly and beautifully. Yet they don’t cost you anything to own.

So what do you want to be? Do you want to be roses, tampered sheltered? Or do you prefer to be wild flowers, carefree and worry free?

In the materialistic world, to many, the difference between roses and wild flowers is the price tags on them. But if one day the price tags were removed, would you still pick roses over wild flowers? This is a question worth asking yourself whenever you are put at the spot to make a choice in life.
