Yacón
El yacón aquí en Colombia es un tubérculo, ( crece subterráneamente) muy parecido a la yuca, pero la planta que lo produce es diferente, además el yacón es de sabor dulce y la textura de su pulpa es mucho más blanda. Cabe resaltar que su sabor es delicioso y ya que es rica en agua, su consumo favorece a los riñones. Su cáscara es muy parecida a la de la papa y esto también marca una diferencia con la yuca, que tiene una cáscara gruesa.
No es común y debido a esto es algo costosa.
