Junk Yard Grow(OUTDOOR UPDATE #12)
Hi Steemians!! It's been 24 days since I showed you all my little outdoor grow. Thank goodness I grow indoors with a 24 hour light cycle, because if I only did outdoor, I would not have as much to post about....
Ok so let me fill you in some info about my outdoor grow. My outdoor plants are my extra indoor plants that I had no room for. I would have way more outside, but it's not the most ideal spot to grow. For one I live in an apartment, so I do not get a full days sun. Also if I went hog wild and grew a beast, more then likely I would get ripped off. There is still a chance of that, but if it happens oh well. I mean it would suck, but my indoor is what I really focus on.

Another thing that's really shitty about my outdoor grow, is my neighbors dog!! If you look at the first pic of my Kandy Kush, you will see dog hair. Such a shame really. A bud wash is going to be mandatory for these plants. Hopefully I will be able to get those hairs off.
My Kandy Kush is a strain I popped from seed last November. I ran her 3 times indoor. She is an amazing strain. The terpene production is off the charts!! It reminds me of Jack Herer, but on steroids. I would have to say this plant smells way better when put under the sun. The ones I have outside are the last of the KK. I decided to retire to make room for the Steem Og.

It's going to be a decent harvest. Also this kola is officially the biggest of my growing career!! Dog hair or not, this bud is going to be amazing.

There is a Kandy Kush I threw out there a few weeks ago. As you can see, she started to flower almost right away. Going to be a cool site to see these kolas fatten up.

Here is the very slow growing Spider Cookies. Which is a strain I retired to make more room. I actually found a bag seed from some Cookies. I cracked it last July. It's such a slow grower I have only ran twice indoors!! It probably takes a good 3 months of veg to flower this strain. Also about 90 days of flower.

It's some amazing smoke, but sometimes you just got to say bye to a strain. If I had the room I would never get rid of any strains. But I don't. So the Junk Yard will see many more retired strains. Soon I will retire a Santa Rita. I got to make more room for the Pineapple Chunk. I also got some Purple Kush im about to pop. I fell I got enough time to finish one more outside. Well see.

That's why I like seeds.... you never have to say goodbye to a strain, even if you run out of room. Hell, I was homeless for a year, but I always had my strains!

I think that indoor weed is "better" in general but outdoor weed has a certain something that I think comes from surviving in the "wild" that I really like. Sometimes even some dirty ass dirt weed from a Mexican brick can give a very interesting (if somewhat weak) buzz.
I knew a guy in southern New Mexico who would throw his random brick weed seeds in his yard and let them grow on their own and, man, some of that stuff came out great despite the questionable genetics, super hot and dry environment, and lack of care.

I like the sound of that junk yard grow. Did it once for veggies haha. If you made a batch of oil out of all those plants I bet it'd be super full-spectrum and highly medicinal!!
