Positive Thinking 004: How to Handle Difficulty?
A difficulty can break you, or it can make you. It all depends on how you take hold of it, and what you do with it.
But before we get to them let me say that you ought to be glad you have some difficulties; life would not be worth living without them. While this element in life may have it's unpleasant aspects, difficulty is still essential to growth and directions.
Actually problems are sign of life. In fact the more problems, the more you are a part of life. Be glad that God trusts you with some problems. Thank Him for the compliment. He believes you have what it takes to handle them.
In this article, you will know the techniques on how to handle life's difficulty.
Learn to stand back from your troubles and take calm survey.The best way to do this is through the practice of quietness. In quietness and peace take a level look at your problems. Silence is the element in which great things fashion themselves. Silence conditions the mind to those sharper illuminations that surely come from God working in your thoughts. Divine guidance is always spoken in a still, small voice.
Use your full mind power to analyze difficulty. Then systematically chip away at it bit by bit. It is important to find God's answer, and then to follow it. What are our little minds compared to the great mind of God. Let's take it up with God. The prayer itself was a process of thinking it through analyzing it.
Think positively about your difficulty. Believe that you can overcome it. Do this and you are already well on the way to victory.
Learn the spiritual practical method for handling difficulty.
Let persistence work for you. Keep everlasting at it, and you will be victorious eventually. Stay with it; in other words don't give up. It's amazing what simple persistence will do where you use it intelligently on your difficulties.
Grow to the high point where you can look down on your problem, and then use your problem to help you grow. In order to accomplish this you may have to do considerable growing, both mentally and spiritually; but that can be done also. It is possible to grow tall in the mind, taller than any problem. This is another way of saying that you are bigger than any difficulty.
Calmly take life as it comes. Deal with difficulties with controlled emotions and steadily keep on working for victory.
Never build a case against yourself. Stop working against yourself down in that minds of yours. God, Our Creator, is not a poor workman. He made you and He never intended that life should defeat you. He made life hard, to be sure, but He wants you to know that He will help you.
Make use of the available power of the almighty. Troubles will defeat you without God, but with His help you can handle difficulty.
