Cappuccinos & Gelato's - When in Rome

We went to Italy in 2014 with Jonathan's parents & his brother & our first stop was Rome. Gosh, there's so much to say about that trip & I'm not sure I can share all about it in one post, so I'll share first about Roma's wonderful cappuccinos & gelato's that we were obsessed with.

Quite literally, our first stop when we got to Rome was to a little coffee spot on the corner of some street just so we could try our first Italian cappuccino. It was everything we thought it would be.

When it came to gelato (sorry I didn't take any pictures... I know... did it even happen?!) I was a pretty basic person & went for the same flavor most times if I could. Coffee flavored. Haha... yes, I'm a bit obsessive about coffee. Jonathan usually went for flavours like nutella, vanilla or some fruity gelato.

I wouldn't say Rome was my favorite part of the trip though. It was incredibly dirty, busy, loud & all those things Rome is known to be. Which I knew going in, but it was a lot for me. At that time also, I wasn't doing well health wise. I was gluten free at the time & I was struggling with sleep issues, so the time change was really hard. I also developed severe foot pain while there, so walking places was extremely challenging. I would love to go back one day, now that I'm healthier.

If you've ever been to Rome, what was the thing you loved the most? Did you eat all the gelato & drink all the cappuccinos??

Kebersamaan itu perlu dalam kehidupan , karena dengan demikian maka hubungan seseorang akan semakin dekat dan harmonis, iya kan?

Dirty, busy, and loud doesn't sound very appealing to me either! I'd spend all my time eating gelato too ;)))

Totally haha. Except when you're surrounded by these incredibly beautiful buildings and churches and enjoying the sunshine and heat, then it's hard not to love it at the same time. It's a weird feeling for sure!

Are you going to do more posts about that trip? If I ever made it over to Europe I'd love to see one of the old cathedrals.

Yes, I plan to! That's what made it worth it. The old cathedrals, churches & buildings are just breathtaking.
