The February HODL Challenge - Through The Fire!
Amazing how things work out...
I started last week's post with the following statement...
But hey, the positive way to look at it is.....We can only go up from here :)
And then....Monday happened!
The big sell off / correction / crash took place and the world of crypto was burning before our very eyes....
Not so fast :)
As I'm typing this at 3 am eastern on Wednesday morning things are looking...Dandy...For now...
Who knows how long this will last but hey, after the past few days we'll take a little bit of green in those markets. And if you are expecting me to comment on where I think it's headed....Well the last time I said we can only go up, we took a dive LOL
So I'll refrain from my expert technical analysis. After all, I've been doing this since November of 2017....That makes me a guru right? Doesn't it?
Anywho let's take a look where we are a week into the month....
Ox Protocol (ZRX)
Not a surprise but we're down from $1.70 per token to $0.98. Still we are early in the month. I'm still pretty excited about this project!
IOS Token (IOST)
Urrrgh, that's 2 for 2 in the red. IOS Token got slapped from $0.05 to $0.03. Not a huge dip when you first look at it but when you are only at 5 cents per token, even 2 cents off is....A sizeable loss.
Ethos (BQX)
This one stings. I know, I know...It's early and this is the HODL challenge but Ethos's dip was rough. Not to worry, they have some big news planned for this week according to their Twitter feed. Crossing fingers that we get back to and above last week's $4.54 from this week's $3.73.
ETH Lend (LEND)
Yup, this one is down too! Again that's to be expected after the Sunday and Monday we just went through. From $0.13 to $0.08. Let's hope these days of green continue :)
Basic Attention Token (BAT)
And you guessed it! 5 for 5 in the red this week. BAT went from $0.50 to $0.34. Still, this is one of the more popular tokens in the crypto / marketing world. Let's see what the Brave Browser can pull off.
So adding it all up we're down to $66.05 for a loss of almost $40...Creepy!
But alas...We bought went the market was tanking and kept falling so maybe...Just maybe...We'll start seeing some improvement?

I feel for you man always hurts when this happens lets hope we get a correction in the right direction this week
Dare I say you should predict it going down, in the hopes it will call your bluff again and go up.

Ha ha ha True true. Yeah I still have no idea what I'm doing....So fair warning, if I start preaching technical analysis I need people to call me out LOL
This is a ton of fun though and I'm learning so much. The $100 each month is what I'm considering my education fees LOL
Ha ha ha you could probably by profit trailer for that now given the massive reduction in the price of btc but then it wont hodl for you unless you set it up that way.

Yeah I'm trying my best to dollar cost avergae this and stick to my budget....But man oh man, what an opportunity to get some great deals right now. Steem looks....So good right now LOL
I traded an Etherum for Steem last week, just in time to bathe in red. The only thing I can see wrong with my position is that it is not larger.

I'm so tempted to sell all my other crypto and dive in big with Steem. It's the only one I truly believe in simply because I'm using it each and every day.
I believe in this man....I can't express how much I do LOL

This is a HODL challenge so hold'em Jon! (which I'm sure you will) I see a bright future ahead for blockchains. We haven't even scratched the surface of possibilities (not to mention implementations).
Man....I just finished a video to post on Plus 1 Daily...And I tried my best to 'not' get too excited LOL
This is going to change the world brother and we're going to have a blast and learn so much as it progresses!
These are exciting times but we also need to keep our cool, lol! Looking forward for the video ;)
